How is this Course Organized?
Back to: How to Design SVGs
Welcome! Before you get started, here is some information about how this course is organized.
First, as mentioned before you signed up, you’ll need Silhouette Studio Business Edition. If you don’t have it, click here to buy it. (If you don’t know what version of Silhouette Studio you have, open the program and navigate to ‘Silhouette Studio’ in the menu bar, then ‘About’. The screen that pops up will tell you what version of the software you have.)
Course Organization
Each section is broken down into lessons:
- The first lesson covers a concept related to designing SVGs.
- The second and third lessons are tutorials or resources. Personally, I think that you’ll learn more if you follow the tutorials step-by-step as I walk you through them.
- The third lesson is a short takeaway to remember and a challenge related to the private Facebook Group, How to Design SVGs. Even if you choose not to post to the Facebook Group, completing the challenges will still help build your SVG designing skills.
- Bonus material related to selling SVGs is located at the end of the course.
- The Continued Learning section is available after completing the How to Design SVGs course. New tutorials are posted in that area each Friday.
How to Get Help
Stuck on something? Need help? Two ways to get help:
- Post in the Facebook Group, How to Design SVGs. Multiple people in the group can provide assistance.
- Email me, Christine, at help@howtodesignsvgs.com. I try to answer within an hour or two Monday through Friday.
Affiliate Links
There are a few affiliate links throughout the course, mostly related to fonts I used in the designs. Clicking affiliate links will not cost you more money, but will give me a small percentage if you choose to buy the product or use the service.
